ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT BRACKETS
The suspensions of 4 x 4 or Light Commercial Vehicles have more travel than a passenger car and as a result the towing height can be too high or too low for a Trailer or Caravan.
Most Standard towbars only provide one or at the most two positions for the towing coupling.
The Dixon-Bate Adjustable Height Towbar however will match the height of the towing coupling to that of the trailer thus ensuring the trailer is towed in a level or nose-down condition – essential for safe towing.

FRAME: is fixed to the vehicle and pre-drilled to provide a range of height adjustments (from 3 to 5 dependant on vehicle and model).
FIXING BRACKETRY: unless it is a Standard Adjustable Coupling the kit includes all the brackets, bolts, nuts & instructions necessary to fit the Adjustable Height Towbar to your vehicle.
STEEL PIN/R CLIP: attaches Slider to Frame at a height to suit the Trailer. Simply remove to adjust towing height.

SLIDER: for the towing coupling. Suitable for 2 bolt (16mm) or 4 bolt (12mm) coupling fixings. Available as a spare for quick changing of couplings.

All Dixon-Bate couplings are finished in a black phosphate primer for corrosion resistance and black powder top-coat.
